Well, since I couldn't PM you...

I wanted to let you know, in case you don't already know, that they're making a third Golden Sun, for the DS.

This is an excellent remix. Well put together, clear instruments, and everything's melodically synced up in perfection.

I have no criticisms for this.

    @Skeik-Sprite

    It's Elecman's theme from Megaman 1.

God, I hated those vertical climb stages, like Crash Man and Ring Man.

    ----

The song's okay, but not my flavor.

The best remix of Mother Zone I've heard so far.

This was my favorite track in that entire game.

For where it was, it had a very ominous feel to it, as well.

    ProudOne responds:

Its one of my favourite tracks aswell. I love the soundtrack alltogether though :3
    Thank you for listening!

    Pretty good.

I don't have much else to say about it other than it flows rather well, but it's a bit quiet. Not a big deal though, cause we can always turn up our own volume.

    I'm impressed.

I thought listening to some of your other stuff would prove to me how much experience you've got in the music making field. You're not bad.

    darkkloud responds:

well thank you for the compliment sir.

It's a bit off in some parts around the middle

Overall a good first into covering or remixing video game music, and Laughter is one that's seldom picked, even if at all.

From about 1:00 to 1:38 does sound a little screwed up, as you mentioned to me, but playing by ear and memory can sometimes be a testy issue especially when you have to listen for the fainter instruments.

To end this note with a little amusement, I quote the fanatic praying in Kadary's streets. "Oh, Zio, the holy one..."

8 and a half mintues of my life well spent.

Nice work. Despite my having spammed my ears with Lavos' theme years ago (and killing my appreciation for it), I enjoyed this a lot. I doubt that i've seen a lot of remixes/remasteries of Lavos' Theme, anyway.

    ZIO~!!! OMG IT'S EFFING ZIO!!!!

YES! This ex-Gardnerite loves this song and 5's it and downloads it and says that you're the BEST person person in Gardner, KS, just for making a remastery of "Laughter"! This was my favorite boss theme in Phantasy Star, ever!!!

    Charem responds:

I loved that under-respected game. =) And yeah, it's an awesome song, and it was fun to remix.

    Nice.

You know, it's really hard to find decent video game music here...at all...but this is excellent. Been hunting for stuff to use for a project.

    Sounds quite close.

If there were EVER a casino that you could play around in (not Balio and Sunder's colosseum) in Breath of Fire 3...I dunno, there might be one and I never found it or something, whatever.

But this would be playing. XD

    Setu-Firestorm responds:

You're actually not far off. While the piece is titled "Corruption", it was composed for a 1930s city of corruption and coincidentally the game opens in the casino.

Some say the internet makes you stupid. I say the internet only makes the stupid that much moreso.
